The Yupiit
Piciryarait Cultural Center supports artists and entrepreneurs by offering opportunities for them to show their work, receive training in their field, and interact with other artisans.
Nine areas of focused activities have been selected to encourage local entrepreneurship with local storytellers, toy makers, tool makers, traditional foods chefs, traditional and contemporary native and non-native arts and crafts, game creators, linguists, and dancers.
Regional Artists and Small Business Cooperative
The Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center and the HUD grant are working to support all artists, craftspersons, small businesses, and entrepreneurs in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
When you join the Regional Artists and Small Business Cooperative for $60 a year, all Saturday Market table rentals are included (non-member fee is $10 per week, per table). There are 20 Saturday Markets per year, allowing for a savings of $140 a year. Annual membership runs October to October. Members are invited to show and sell at the annual Members Only Show in April each year. To become a member, fill out the online form below.
